To all the missionaries, Saturday, November 11, 2023
Emerald and I had a long week struggling to finish essays for school. I had two essays due this week - one in each of my two classes, and Emerald had her final English essay due this week for her dual-credit English class. It was an argumentative essay, and the teacher required them to use "consumerism" as the topic. Emerald hadn't the foggiest idea what to write about consumerism. It was a long struggle!! But she finally completed the required 1700 words and turned it in last night before the last last deadline of midnight. No carriages turning into pumpkins here - Emerald was home before midnight! Phew!!
In the midst of the struggle, while Emerald and I were both sitting on the couch, writing away, Emerald sent me this meme. She stayed home from school ill on Monday, and we had a day off for elections on Tuesday, and Emerald spent all day both days writing. NOT writing her English essay. She wrote 2-3,000 words on the cute, fun fantasy book that she, Dallin, and Alexander are writing for NaNoWriMo. 🤦♀️😄
But she did eventually finish the essay, too, so all's well that ends well!
One good thing about missionary work - no essays to write!! 🎉
Only multitudes of reports, huh?
Have a wonderful week serving the Lord!!
Love,
Mom/Aunt Tiffany
