Sewing

Aysha taught herself to sew a few years ago.  She later learned how to make pillowcases.  This is my favorite:

She chose the great, coordinating fabric herself and made the whole pillowcase!

Grandma Gerry is so excited that finally one of her descendants shows promise of following in her stitchery talented footsteps!  So she sent Aysha her Bernina Artista machine that she hasn't been using as much lately.

Aysha had her first lesson with the machine yesterday.  She has been working on her "homework" ever since -- trying out all the preprogrammed stitches.  These are some of the projects she crafted today:

She made a tote bag, two doll blankets, and a stuff bag.
