Leaving home
Yesterday our first baby went to college. It is a hard change for all of us who are left behind. But we are so happy that Coral is excited about this new adventure in her life!
Here she is! It was a cold day on campus at BYU-Idaho yesterday!
The nice thing was that there were so many student representatives waiting to help new freshman at every turn! We had two young people help us carry boxes from our car to Coral's new apartment. Here is our apartment welcoming committee:
Then there were student representatives and staff members available to answer questions in every room of the student center, and also at the corners of the administrative buildings to guide us to academic advising, financial aid office, etc. Not to mention that every student who just happened to be around campus on Freshman move-in day was also eager to help the students and parents walking around with lost expressions on their faces!
