Planting Flowers

 

Front flower bed in embryo - so exciting!!

A few more dianthus right in the front, middle. And I planted nearly a hundred marigolds that I bought from a Job's Daughters fundraiser - some next to the sidewalk, and a whole bunch along the flowerbed in front of the apartment window. 

In front of the petunias, I planted some yellow marigolds and lobelias. On the lowest step, I put two daisy plants and a bunch of safari red marigolds. 

I started planting the flowers on May 21. It took two or three sessions of planting to get all of those marigolds planted!!

On May 21, I wrote in my journal, "I planted some of my flowers today. I love it! I am so excited for them to grow and look so pretty!!""
