Reunion 2 - Baptism and starting for home

On Saturday morning, we attended Brianna's baptism.  Gran and Grand dad each gave a talk.  Melody and Nicole sang "Consider the Lilies" - so beautiful!

Afterward, everyone gathered in the Relief Society room for refreshments and socializing.  David and Meredith were there with their family.  It was great to see all of them!

Here are Aunt Judy and Uncle Denny with all three of Melody's girls - Alexis, Brianna, and Nicole:

After the social, we all went back to Melody's house.  Scott and David and those who wanted to join in did a little role-playing.  Melody prepared a nice lunch for all of us.  I packed.  The other family members sat and visited.  Alexander watched Despicable Me 3.  The other kids role-played with Scott.  Aysha snuck in one more swim.  Melody Face-timed with Judd and Dan Schkeeper before we left so that everyone could talk with them.

We spent a long time saying good-byes and started on our way around 2:00 p.m. our time.  We ate dinner in Abilene at 9 p.m.  It turned out poorly, because the mall closed at 9:00, so we couldn't do anything there, and the McDonald's playground closed at 9:00 also.  Alexander cried when he found out he couldn't play on the playground.

Then we drove on to Lubbock and stayed at a Super 8 on the edge of town for the night.
