All of our ornaments are either kid-made or are gifts celebrating some family event or trip. My personal favorite is a silver-robed angel with long brown hair that reminds me of Tiffany for some reason... Wow! More photos of this year's tree decoration event are below the fold.
We love learning together. We work hard and play hard. We like to help each other. We want to choose the right so that we can live together forever!

Christmas Tree Decorating
We tend to put the Christmas tree up very late in the season. It's not because we don't like the tree or the season, but merely seeing the Christmas tree does something to the children in our house... They get more excited every day and not in a flat linear fashion - it's nigh-logarithmic! The ornaments suffer the brunt of this building energy level and they get played with as if they were the actual gifts. (We long ago gave up the idea of putting the gifts under the tree!) A daily search throughout the house for ornaments becomes part of the start of our day, with the lower branches becoming almost bare as C-day gets closer.

The kids always have a good time picking the ornaments to put on next.
I need another ornament. Now.
The older kids follow the younger ones and balance the distribution.
Lookin' good!
This strange elf was handing out the ornament hooks...
